中美關系經歷過風風雨雨，但是一直前行。堅持一個中國政策，這是中美關系的政治基礎。
China-US
relations have been going forward in spite of various twists and turns in the
past several decades. The one-China policy constitutes the political foundation
of China-US relations.
當然，中美之間也有分歧，雙方都需要保持戰(zhàn)略定力，坐下來談。
It is also true
that there are some differences between the two countries. But I believe it’s
important for both countries to uphold strategic interests, and sit down
to talk to each other.
回應特朗普批中國偷竊美國就業(yè)：90%以上利潤被美國企業(yè)拿走
雖然中方是貿易順差，但是企業(yè)生產的產品利潤90%以上是美國企業(yè)拿走了，中國的生產企業(yè)拿到的利潤最低只有2%—3%。據有關統(tǒng)計，光去年一年，中美的貿易、投資給美國創(chuàng)造的就業(yè)崗位過百萬個。
It may be true
that China runs a surplus in its trade with the US. But for his company, the
truth is over 90% of the profits go to US firms, and the profit margins for his
business is a merely 2-3%. And there are other statistics too. For example,
last year, trade and mutual investment between us created up to one million
jobs in the United States.
如果中美發(fā)生貿易戰(zhàn)的話，首先受損的是外資企業(yè)，首當其沖的是美資企業(yè)。我們不希望看到打貿易戰(zhàn)，貿易戰(zhàn)帶不來貿易公平，而且雙方都受損。
Should a trade
war break out between China and the United States, it would be the foreign
invested companies, in particular US firms that would bear the brunt of
it. We don’t want to
see any trade war breaking out between the two countries. That wouldn’t make
our trade fairer.
